The Australian Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Research Network is a collaboration between researchers, institutions, patients, industry and international networks, who are working together to help progress the best clinical research and speed the path to a cure for type 1 diabetes.

The Australian Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Research Network is supported by a $5 million grant to JDRF from the Australian Government.

Recent Events

On the 17th and 18th of November 2011, the Australian Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Research Network held its first formal meeting in Melbourne with key representatives of the type 1 diabetes research community and JDRF. Over the two day workshop, the structure and operations of the network were discussed. The spirit of the CRN was evident during the workshop as key members engaged in open discussions and collaborated with one another to agree on the core goals and activities of the CRN. Read more...
